How do I get to the British Virgin Islands?
If you are flying into the British Virgin Islands, you should book your flight to Beef Island, Tortola (Airport Code: EIS). If you are flying into any of the airports in the U.S. Virgin Islands, you will need to take the ferry to the West End of Tortola, for which there is a $50 round-trip fare per person.

We will meet you at the airport or ferry station and bring you directly to your villa. If you request a rental car, it will be at the villa upon your arrival.

What documentation is required to visit the BVI?
For UK citizens, a valid passport is required for travel to the British Virgin Islands.

For US and Canadian citizens, a valid passport or an original birth certificate accompanied by a photo ID (such as a drivers license) is required.

NOTICE TO ALL US CITIZENS BOOKING GREEN BANK VILLAS

As of December 31, 2006, all travelers coming outside the USA will need a valid passport to re-enter the United States. Visit the U.S. Passport Office for more information. Please verify boarding requirements with your airline.

How do I arrange for a rental car?
We can make those arrangements for you, or you can book a rental car directly with any of the agencies on the island. Either way, we will be happy to coordinate with them to have your rental car at the villa when you arrive.

Note: A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended for Emerald Crest.

What should I bring?
Our Virgin Island villas are complete with everything you should need during your stay. You only need to bring your clothing and other personal items. We would like to remind you to pack for warm weather and that casual clothing will be appropriate for nearly all of your experiences. In addition to beachwear and outdoor clothing as needed based on your plans, be sure to include sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen. Bringing CDs, videos, books, and children’s entertainment items should also be considered.

How much of a deposit is due?
Half of the rental amount is due by credit card within 72 hours of booking, to confirm reservation. The other half plus, 7% Government Hotel Tax and Refundable Security Deposit are due 45 days prior to arrival date.

Are there any additional fees?
There is a 7% government hotel tax and a refundable Damage Deposit of $200 for Greenbank Villa or $300 for Emerald Crest. These fees are due along with the final payment 45 days prior to arrival.

What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations and modifications must be made in writing via email or fax. If a cancellation is necessary and notice is received more than 45 days prior to your arrival, 80% of the total rent is refundable. If notice is received less than 45 days prior to your arrival, the rent is not refundable, although we will make every effort to reschedule your trip for another time. We recommend cancellation insurance.

Do you accept credit cards?
We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express.

Inquire about our British Virgin Island lodging.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. A 7-night minimum stay is usually required, but shorter periods can be arranged.

Is maid service included?
Maid service is included once during your weekly stay at mid-week. Service is available for additional days at $50 per day.

Extra towels and linen are always available.

What about provisioning?
To ease your hectic travel day, we will provide a nice, simple cold dinner and the makings for a continental breakfast for you upon your arrival.
